About the Artist

Kathleen Dawson studied Fine Arts at Queen’s University in Kingston followed by a Master of Fine Arts at Parsons School of Design in New York City. She now lives in Toronto.

Kathleen’s early works were bold, large scale, expressionistic oil paintings. Recent work includes several thematic series of quieter, mixed-media drawings, collages, and more recently, a return to oil painting, this time on mylar.
